Biography

Clara Super Duper is a French illustrator who works from her farm in Charente, in the southwest of France. There, she leads a peaceful (well, mostly) life, surrounded by her iPad, her chickens, her vegetable garden, and her dog, who is probably convinced he’s the real mastermind behind everything.

Clara loves the sun, nature, funny stories—sad ones too—country music, and crocodiles. Her work features bold textures, vibrant colors, and characters as weird as they are lovable.

All of this unfolds within the stone walls of her house, renovated with four hands (half of which belong to her partner), where she juggles her work for the press, the cultural sector, and her other equally serious roles : illustrator, dog walker, chickenfluencer, and much more. When she’s not doing all that, she prints her illustrations as fine art prints from her studio, offering them to the world.

In partnership with the animation studio Beam, founded by her partner, she brings her characters to life, making them dance in quirky stories... that are absolutely not inspired by her daily life at all.*
